Who Runs The World Wednesday: Rosalind Bryant

Rosalind is the founder of Helping Hands, Open Hearts HHOH which started out as a family hobby of feeding the homeless with her parents as a child. She would feed under the bridges of downtown Dallas. Fast forward several years after being the primary caregiver to both her grandmother and mother upon their passing, Rosalind felt a need to give back to her community again. HHOH was birthed from a place of grief and giving and became an official nonprofit in 2012.

HHOH is a small non-profit making a big impact on the community. Helping Hands, Open Hearts’ primary focus is the homeless community of DFW. They provide food, clothing, and hygiene monthly at Salvation Army and Tent City quarterly. In addition to that, They help in-need families throughout the year with several services such as their Annual Back to School Giveaway, Thanksgiving Dinners for the elderly and Christmas Wishes program. HHOH has weekly, monthly, and quarterly events always open to volunteers and donations.
