Ever had one of those days when you are not feeling yourself? Don’t worry CHILE we all have those days! I’m going to let you in on a little secret of some things I do.
-Write positive words and phrases on the mirror with lipstick so every time you look into the mirror you see and can envision those positive images. It also helps for you to mentally say those words or phrases when you see them.
-Make it a practice to stand in the mirror, look at the things society says are imperfections and embrace them. Love on yourself. If you can’t stand to look at yourself in the mirror and love on your imperfections how do you expect someone else to? Imagine the power we hold in just loving our imperfections. No one can use that against you because you have already accepted that. Baby, I have said a mouthful on this one. Whew!
-Be mindful about the words you choose to use to talk about yourself. Words do mean things and hold a lot of weight. Expand your vocabulary! Use words that will uplift, encourage and empower yourself. Create positive affirmations or mantras you can repeat. It’s a good habit to pick up. Try it!
